Growing Up

Lexie took 6 steps last night. It is so funny to watch her because she is so unstable and she tries so hard to stay standing. When she gets close to us she leans forward and then falls into us. I can't beleive she is walking. She is only 17 lbs 27 inches long. To tiny to be walking. O man are we in for a treat. She is already into everything but this is just to fun to watch her learn and explore. They are so smart, if only we as adults could be as willing to learn and explore we would be a lot smarter then we are. Lexie has no fear. She will try anything and get into anything especially if we tell her no she thinks that means go for it more and she will just wait until we aren't paying attention and she is gone. Another one of her favorite things to do is to go up the stairs now so we h ave to gate her and she hates that.

Santa well no!!

We went to see Santa at the mall and I thought that Lexie was going to do good but well as you can see he isn't Lexie's friend just yet. It was kinda funny when she cried. I was shocked that she did because when we went to the parade there was people dressed up in full costume as you can see below she didn't mind them at all.

So Chris and I decided to sit with her next to Santa to see if that would help. At least she isn't screaming!!

What a Face!!!

This is my favorite face that Lexie makes. I'm so glad she finally did it for the camera. Last night at dinner we sat there for an hour just trying to get her to do this for the camera. She is so much fun. The things she does and the faces she makes is just to funny.

X-mas Parade

The town we live in had their annual x-mas lights lighting along the river with a parade they had a few people dressed up in costumes and I just had to get Lexie's picture taken with them. I thought she was going to have a fit but as you can see from the pictures she didn't mind at all.

Halloween 2009

Lexie was a cowgirl for Halloween. A lady from church helped me make the costume. It turned out really well. As you can tell she wasn't to fond of the hat.

Getting Pumpkins

We went to a local pumpkin farm on Oct 24 and went on a hayride through the corn on our way out to the pumpkin field. It was so cold that morning. We had so much fun. It had rained for two days prior to us going to the pumpkin farm so it was pretty muddy. We had so much fun.
We didn't get a chance to carve the pumpkins though.

Lexie's First Snow Fall

We had our first snow fall the first of Oct and I just had to take Lexie out and let her feel it on her head.

Update

Lexie is crawling!! She just started today. It is amazing how all of a sudden things just click and they just go. She goes everywhere now. She isn't to fast yet but she will be soon. She is growing up to fast!!!!

We had a blast in Utah. Mom got in a car accident the day before we flew in so she was down and out. She broke her left knee and ankle. It was still nice to be there and spend some time with the family. I wish I could still be there. Here is some pictures of the trip.
